Aurora

Aurora

Aurora, beautiful northern lights
Cast their magical spell
Staring into the sky
I can almost see the fairies,
Their fragile translucent wings
And how they would flutter
Upon the nightly breeze
Surrounded by this
Kaleidoscope of colors
Leaving behind a trail
Of silver sparkling fairy dust
As crickets chirp
And the luscious green leaves
Of trees rustle
And fireflies dance
Above their little heads
Like the fairies do,
Little ladies
Of the light.
